Monday AM/PM - This course is for anyone wanting to obtain their Certified Building Official (CBO) certification or to learn more about being a Chief Building Official. Subjects that will be discussed include Legislative, Code Enforcement, Human Resources, and Public Records. Test-taking techniques will also be discussed in class. The course is based on the 2021 I-Codes. This is one of three exams for the CBO certification.

Frank C. Morris, CBO, CFM, MCP, MCEP, CSP is a noted speaker who has more than 48 years’ experience in the construction industry as a contractor, building official and consultant. Although he is not a practicing Building Official, Mr. Morris remains current with his CBO, CFM, MCP, MCEP, CSP designations. He is still one of the top certified Building Officials in the United States. He has taught for SBCCI and ICC and provides consulting, training services and expert witness testimony to the construction and code industry.
